Tamales Update: Sorry, all varieties are OUT OF STOCK
September 9, 2020:
All varieties of our tamales are currently OUT OF STOCK. We are planning to make more during September, but don’t have a production date set yet. Most likely, we will prepare them during the week of Sept. 21.
This year it has been especially difficult to have sufficient staff members and volunteers in place to meet the demand for our tamales. Our latest challenge is that staff and volunteers are busy working in the grape harvest. We appreciate our customers’ understanding and patience!
Tamales are $20 per dozen—-a very reasonable price for a delicious product that benefits CMS’ programs for farmworkers!
Pickup in Grand Junction at Chopstix Express restaurant remains unavailable until further notice.
We ask that customers use our online ordering to the greatest extent possible or call us at 970-464-5226 to order tamales and schedule a time to pick them up. We’ll also take exact cash payment or checks at CMS. We don’t accept credit or debit cards at our office.
To order online, see “Tamales” tab at the top of the page.
We appreciate the help of the volunteers who assist us while implementing our enhanced health and safety guidelines. We now require use of facial masks and social distancing in the preparation and sale of the tamales.
Except on the day they are prepared, our tamales are available for purchase FROZEN by the dozen at the CMS Hospitality Center, 721 Peach Ave. in Palisade. (Well, okay, maybe we’ll have some unfrozen for a day or two after preparation. Call us for an update.)
All varieties sell for $20 per dozen.
