Annual Benefit Concert

Thanks to everyone who supported the July 8 benefit concert featuring “Quemando” at Grande River Vineyards in Palisade

The annual benefit concert “Celebrate the Hands that Harvest/ Las Manos que Cosechan” was like Christmas in July for CMS: a time for joy, sharing and appreciation. The concert featured the tremendous talent of Quemando, “Colorado’s hottest Latin salsa band,” and many concert-goers purchased a delicious meal of tamales, rice and beans topped off with CMS’ cook Maria’s famous creamy and spicy salsa.

What a great way to celebrate and honor local farmworkers and their families.
